Just checking a current popular sales website - Spektrum DSMR receivers run from $30 up to $80 for the SR2010. Competitor's receivers on the same website range $60 to $100.

Had my first race day with the 6r and 2010 receivers. Everything worked perfectly. Seems like it is a little faster response than my old sanwa mt4s and 472 receivers

I felt the same thing compared to my M12 with 471 receivers. To be fair i think the 6020rx servo is a tick faster the the ers-961 sanwa servo i previously used. So far I really like the radio.

Apples to apples spektrum is more expensive. 4 channel futaba s-fhss antennaless (I currently use with the 4px) are $39.99 at amain vs 4 channel spektrum DSMR going for $59.99 at amain. Or $37.99 3 channel futaba vs $44.99 spektrum...

Okay guys need your input here. I have a MXV with 6 receivers, I'm looking to upgrade that said I can go used m12 and use the receivers I have or go m12s rs and buy new. Or go with the dx6r and get the 2 channel as all I do is race. Will the bind plug power a transponder? and is the dx6r any better than a m12?

I have never used a M12 so I couldn't say if the DX6r is better or not. But I believe that the bind plug outlet will power a transponder. The 2 channel race receiver (2010) will have an AUX channel anyway that will power the transponder. The ones that don't are the sport receivers

DX6R has easier to use (and view) touch screen display. Android functions - to do as much or as little as you want with the device. Better ergonomic feel in your hand. More options for future updates and potential uses. Transponders or fans will work in the AUX or Bind ports.

Hello,

I'm developer of LapMonitor lap counter and looking for DX6R owners who are attending Montpellier GP in France in one week (as spectator or participant, this is not important).
My need is to install LapMonitor Android app on the DX6R and do few tests. Tests won't be while you are driving (for the participant)

There will be a REWARD to thank you helping improving LapMonitor app
If you're interested please contact me

Thanks
Franck

- Why does the sr6000t that comes with the reciever have an x-bus connection? What works with it? I can't use my castle x-bus telemetry link with it.

- I have the latest firmware and my raceware crashes regularly.

- The sd card cover came barely hanging on and won't stay on. Will this be recalled?

X-Bus connection will work with our additional telemetry module and some other things that are in the works....

We have not heard of many crashes with 2.01.01 software. If you don't connect to wifi - please do, the 6R will send us crash reports. Also if you can PM me or email me @ [email protected], would like to know more so we can look at it.

SD card cover has been a thorn since the radio was released. Some come out good and some do not. Its been an ongoing project to look at what we can do to update the cover.

I'm back with another question guys, I have spekturm's have to use a capacitor plugged into the receiver? I have never had to do this with my MXV. If I go 6xr am I going to need one for every receiver? I run all Protech 100ss or 100t servos all 1/10 scale racing.

I have never run a capacitor in any of my receivers. I think some of the need for those are power hungry servos. I think the new receivers have better power delivery and if you don't have a really power hungry servo, you should be good. Also does your ESC have adjustable voltage? I certainly haven't had a problem since I adjusted my ESC to 7.4v.

I agree with mkl, haven't done that since I started using Spektrum. I couple years ago that was a thing with certain brand of power hungry, but not now. Its a whole new world!!
