Car goes backwards
So I have a brushed motor setup I fried the motor so I got a replacement armature for it and put it back together and now it runs backwards. Everything is hooked up the same are armatures directional?

Yeah, just the swap wires around and check the timing to ensure it's working correctly by turning the endbell by hand while the motor is running at half power.

Depending on what kind of motor it is...if it has adjustable timing then you could have the wires soldered on correctly but the endbell 180° out from where its supposed to be. This would cause it to run backwards.

Very true. I didn't think people would actually solder backwards but didnt want to hurt any feelings.

I didn't unsolder anything just took the end bell off put in new armature put back together fixed end bell not adjustable only can go one spot
So I took the contacts off the end bell housing swapped 180 put back together and goes forward now I guess the armatures had different timing maybe |
