Imax b6 track setup
 

Hey guys.

Just purchased myself an Imax b6 charger for use at the track.

Has anybody had experience with setting on up through the 12v cigarette/accessorie ports instead of the direct battery connections?

While possible at moderate power levels, it's not ideal. A lot of extra wire and connections, some voltage drop and loss of efficiency. Including the socket that is designed to push out and disconnect. Some combinations stay together better than others from what I've seen.

Regardless of connection method of course be careful to not run the auto battery down too far.
