Help surface radio choice

Finished building my electric 1/8 buggy and now have started on new electrics and so radio choice. I've googled and read lots of threads this week reference radio choices and model issues but what I have read is reference to old dates ie 2013 2014 nothing new or 2015.

All the radios I have seen are now old. So my list is sort of the following:
Absima cr3b or cr4p
Spectrum dx3s or dx4s
Flysky Fs-It4
Radio link rc3s or rc4g
Trackstar ts4g

Money I have to spend is about £100 max, but ideally £50 even better, everything seems to be old model and nothing currently new. Even second hand has a high price.
Futaba and Ko to much money, any help in what to look for, do like the choice of having a nice screen for setting and adjustment, also would like telemetry and Avc or gyro support.

understand its a personal choice but surely having a new upto date radio with greater function is better than something from 2013 which is limited in user functions.
Thanks again
Mark

Personally, I'd be looking at a good used Futaba 4PLS or Airtronics/Sanwa MT4S. Bot re quality radios, and used just might put them into your price range.

I have both a ts4g and a rc3s. Great radios for the money and recievers are cheap. Lots of good reviews out there on them and I would say the best options especially if your budget ideally is under 50.

That being said I got a Airtronics MX-V recently and while I really like my rc3s and tS4g the ergonomics on the MX-V are better for me. A second hand Mx-v might be in your price range but they don't seem to go on sale as much.

But the rc3s/ts4g is still cheaper by a good amount and if you upgrade later it would be a great spare/loaner.

Buy the best Sanwa you can afford, MXV or MT4.
+1 on the Sanwa ergonomics, as well.

Thanks for replies, for the minute have just brought my self a TS4G to get the car up and running when the rest of the electrics arrive, currently watching several nice transmitter on fleabay dx3s and looking around for any decent deals. Hoping to end up with a spectrum dx4s by the end of the year
