Spektrum receiver differences
I have been looking around trying to understand the differences between the following Spektrum receivers: SR2000, SRS4210, SR410/415
I see they talk about a 5.5 ms frame rate for the SR2000 but they dont say what it is for the SRS4210. Does anybody know? Then I noticed I could get the SR410 significantly cheaper than the SRS4210. Does anybody know what if any performance differences there are between the SRS4210 and the SR410? I don't want AVC which seems to be the only documented difference I can find. Thanks. |

SR2000 is a fast DSMR RX at 5.5ms but its said 5.5ms is for 1/12 or smaller, 11ms suggested for larger than 1/12 SRS4210/SRS4200 are the DSMR AVC RX the SRS4200 comes in veicles equiped with AVC and SRS4210 to be used to add AVC to any RC, I have both and find they are identicle. 11ms |
Thanks for the helpful info.

Where did you get this info? There is a customer product review on A-Main of this receiver where the guy says he uses these receivers in his 1/10 sct and 1/8th scale rc8.2 with no issues at all.
I bet more than just him run them, probably has LiPo in his truck not Nitro on a Ni-MH hump pack ;) Electric trucks run the RX off the LiPo packs powering tge truck they have plenty juice. Nitro guys with LiPo powered RX even Life should have no issues. The thing about it is large servos take juice to run and when Nitro on a hump pack Ni-MH the servos compete with the High juice sucking SR2000 RX and a conflict occurs, Sig is lost. As long as there is enough juice for both servos & RX there won't be an issue. Ni-MH will sneak up on you, fine for a couple practice sessions then crap out during the main as battery pack voltage drops. |
The sr415 is dsm2 and dsmr capable.
