cheap reciever and controller
okay guys im on a low budget of preferebly
$45 or below i need a range of only about 100feet not a whole lot of range but i dont want it to break in a week. any stock radio sets to buy off an ebay shop that are relatively good besides the sc10 stock set up i dont care for it. |
Fly Sky GT3B/C?
|
seen it alot is it any good? i have no problem buying the chinese stuff like that i just want to know if its good
|
It's good. The trigger sweep is a tad long, takes some getting used too, but range is plenty. I've had 2 of them. Look in the classifieds lol. their gone quick when their posted. Get the 3C, it charges with usb charging and has a lipo. Just plug it in to charge it. 3B doesn't.

Read this, lot of information about budget radios.

There's also the $37.95 GT3X, which I assume is also made by FlySky:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-107-gt...ote-green.html It uses the $9.95 FS-A3 receivers: http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-120-gt3x-receiver.html I use this for some of my Breakout class loaner cars, and it works okay. It's not up to the quality of my DX4C, but it costs less than half what the DX4C costs. |
thank you guys for suggestions i may go with the 3b because that way i dont have to remember to charge it and its cheaper.

I run a flysky gt3b. 10 model memory and all. Mine is modded to fit a 3s lipo in it for power.this is a great mid for weight reduction and I purchased a new 3s for less than the cost of 8aa rechargables.shed a bunch of weight. Range is awesome. And flysky now has a rx that's designed to run on 8.4v for power hungry servos. I think mine cost around 45 new. They also have some other mods that allow unlimited model memory as well as other goodies

i have a problem with remembering to charge stuff so i chose the 3b. found it for 35 with free shipping so i bought it.
