Bought a new Pico and ran it for about 30 minutes and it shut off. Has a single red slashing led and wont do anything. Anyone seen this?

Think I found the problem. I dropped my controller last time racing, messing with the neutral position, so when I turn on the ESC it thinks the controller is being pulled, a safety function. When I find neutral it starts up, it makes the start up noise. Still does it after being calibrated.

Could try using a different model in the radio, each model will have its own unique neutral and end points. Re-Calibrate esc of course, with this change. You could also see if your transmitter has a calibration function to reset neutral, again re-calibrate esc. The esc will do what the signal from the radio is telling it. But if it the radio was damaged or something changed after the drop, the esc may not understand what the transmitter is trying to say.

Telemetry sounds exciting!
Redesigned boost and turbo algos? Will we be expecting that we'll need to tweak our boost and turbo settings??

The short answer is yes. No set up is exactly right for every person, track or driving style. You should attempt to tweak it little by little to give you the best performance. When we set up a profile we have an object of trying to make it fast its purpose, but so much on the limit that it can cause someone to overheat something. That being said, when ever you try a new setting or set up - you have to be mindful of temps. Don't go out and try and run 10 minutes with a new boosted set up without knowing how fast the heat builds up.

Cain, I’m running the preset 2wd blinky program. I just adjust the brakes and punch to suit the traction level. I generally run the throttle freq at the lowest setting and the brake freq in th low to mid range (sorry I don’t have the exact settings right now).

Hi, newbie when it comes to electronics. Can someone tell me what is the use of the sensor wires on the brushless motors?
Where does it connect? or do you use it only for servicing or adjusting the motor? I have a Maclan 21.5 short stack paired with a
Maclan Pico 100a. Sorry if this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find an answer to this.

Thanks in advance

the sensor wire is necessary and it goes from the motor to the ESC. The sensor wire plugs are keyed so plugging them in backwards should not be possible. The sensor port should be easy to find on the motor. The port on the ESC is under the solder tabs

Thank you for the info. On another note, I might have solder blend in from the A to the B connector on the motor. How critical is this?
