Looks like maclan has new V2 modified motors. They come with a "smooth" rotor, from what I recall 12.2mm. Then there are 12.5 torque and then the ultra torque options available.

But that doesn't really translate into better products for the average racer, does it?

personally, I am hopeful it at least translates into some of the products that were mentioned in development actually showing up out there for regular consumers to use. If the rumored 1/8 ESC delivers the level of quality the MMax ESCs had with an additional improvement on how reverse feels, could be a nice seller for both sides of rc out here, racing and bashing.

Having a top tier racer like Jared showcasing Maclan is great and going to draw interest to an already great product.

No, there's not unfortunately. I bring an old windows laptop to the track every weekend for my Tekin stuff. Same for Maclan. Sucks, would love to use my Macbook Pro!

We are super excited to have a driver like Jared Tebo

We are working very very very hard to bring the 1/8 esc online, many iterations and samples to make sure it is as good as our 1/10 escs. I have personally ran it and it is in final stages to become a product for all to buy.

The iPhone app will come with our Bluetooth adapter, as the iOS environment does not allow the same usb connectivity of android OS.

2019 should be an awesome year and expect some jaw dropping products!

yes! That is the answer I was hoping for. I know the iOS enviros doesnít allow that. Kind of annoying really. Be nice to use a secondary usb storage with the system

I have seen guys get $50 (maybe less if you find a good deal on Amazon). android tablets to use for updating software. Realize you don't need a computer to make changes, the program card is super easy and quick. But I just use my DX6R personally.
