Temping brushed motors

Should I be reading the end bell or can temp? Thanks

Can but these days, you really shouldn't have to worry about it because the only remaining applications for brushed motors should be rock crawlers where they won't get hot and rtr's where with a sealed endbell and unchangeable brushes, their lifespan is limited anyway and/or "spec" classes where you just have to gear them how you have to gear them and if they get hot, it's part of the price of racing that class.

Thanks for the reply. I just acquired some new old stock reedy quad mags, and I still had a ko vfs kicking around. I'm using it for general running, but they seem to run a bit hot.
