New charger
I've been looking for a new charger for a few weeks.
I'm sure I've got it narrowed down to duo touch 2 and the icharger. I'm looking for options on the better charger. Thanks in advance |
Once you've narrowed it down to those two, toss a coin - really hard to make a case for either being "better" unless you need the insane charge rates some of the icharger models can do.

Thank you for the responses guys, still up in the air on it.
Im still leaning towards the Touch duo....... |
Dirt oval and 17.5 tells me one thing. If it were me, I would be playing the "juice" game and be leaning towards the Icharger for it's "crazy" charge amp abilities.

I currently do not charge more than 8 amps. I am not sure if I would charge more than that. |
Let me ask this question, Is there a better charger for my needs than the 2 I'm looking at?
|
The icharger will discharge a lot faster, So if you do cycle or even just storage charge your batteries it wont take as long
|
Either ichargers or FMA chargers for the best quality. Progressiverc sells both.

Thanks for all of the help guys! Looks like the Icharger is the favorite!

iCharger 308 DUO!
Hands down, the Best charger I've ever had (I just counted: in 30 years it's close to 60.) It's really, really ugly (Color scheme is nasty bad ~I need a Wrap (Anybody know who's making wraps for the 308DUO?)) But I've had mine for over a year and a half and it works great! When you first start using it, the interface takes some time getting used to. Only mistake I made was not waiting for the 406DUO. 40A/Channel charge/discharge(actually will discharge at even higher current.) When I bought mine the 406DUO wasn't even known of yet. ....The only suggestion I can make is that the fast charging and insane speeds comes with a few trade-offs. When you charge/discharge at high (more that 2C) currents you run the risk of having to replace batteries more frequently, have puffed cells, ...or...Worse Case Scenario...LiPo Fire! |
