Neewer brushless system
Hello all.....
I did an internet search but didn't really find any definite answers about the Neewer brushless system that I bought a while back. I bought a 60a esc and a black 550 4-pole combo system about a year ago. I bench tested it and it worked. At the same time, I had placed an order with A-main hobbies for some tires and I picked up a hobbywing programming card. When I tried to use it on the Neewer esc, I got no response. I also tried my speed passion program card with the same results. Those that are familiar with the Neewer system probably know that they don't come with any instructions either. .......... ........... so ......... What's a guy to do?! Anybody have a definite answer? Sincere experience with this setup? I'm ready to drop it into my stampede or rustler for some backyard bashing. Or maybe put it in my stinger boat to pep up the speed.... either way, I'd appreciate your help trying to understand what will make this thing work. I used to be the that would figure this stuff out on my own but I find that I don't have as much time as I used to. Any help would be greatly appreciated....and I'm sure that I am not the only one looking for a good, informative forum about the Neewer setup. Thanks again! |

I am a little weary to buy the program card as I have read from a few sources it didn't work out for them. And none of the cards I tried worked either. I suppose I don't have room to complain since I chose to go cheap. |
http://www.rcjuice.com/rocket-racing...-program-card/ look similar to yours ?
if so here is the card http://www.rcjuice.com/rocket-racing-led-program-card/ |
Yeah....that looks alot like mine. Without the "Rocket", of course. Thanks for the reply

Just out of curiosity, can one of you tell me how to match a Neewer ESC to a radio transmitter? I have searched a lot for instructions but can't find any. Right now all I care about is radio matching. I'll worry about advanced programming later. (I got this ESC in a car I bought.)

Do you guys have a link or pics of esc ? Usually they are a hobbywing knockoff and program like v1 hobbywing.

I'll have to post pictures from home as my phone isn't uploading right now(gotta love technology). But I have tried my speed passion program card and a hobbywing programming card. I know the hobbywing card was version 2. I'll have to look at my speed passion card to see what version it is. Neither one works. I sent the hobbywing card back. I still have my speed passion card. I remember it powering up.....but I couldn't get any response to change parameters

Yes, I used that exact same card; Version 2.0. It did not work. Thanks for posting though.

Very interesting. Ive bought half a dozen different rebranded hw 60a escs and this card worked on all of them. Although some only had 4 programmable items.

I'm out of town at the moment. But when I get back home, I'll be posting pics of my setup and I'll try the speed passion card again(to remember what it did). The most important thing I want is for the Lipo cutoff to work on this thing. And I have no way of knowing if it's ON right now.
