d4 sensor wire?
I bought a D4 17.5 with no sensor wire..i was going to buy one..but there is all kinds of different sizes and I don't know which one to buy...will this one work?.... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCPDB&P=ML ....or can someone suggest one that will work?
thanks:) |
That's the brand my lhs carries and they're very good. How long is going to depend on where your motor is in relation to the esc. 200 mm is pretty long though. On my bd7 I think I have an 80mm.

Yes.
But I prefer the first kind you posted lol At the end of the day as long as it's long enough your good. |
Just an FYI for you, ALL sensor wires will work. The connectors for motors and speedos are a standard part in the ROAR rules so any brand or type will work. All you need to do is figure out what length you need. If you don't have one around to compare to, just take a piece of string or wire and run through where you need to go, cut it or mark it to length, pull it out and measure it.
Or just get one you know is too long and bundle up the excess. TQ are my favorites. LRPs are pretty good too. TQ and I suspect most others give the measurement from the inside of the connectors. |
