My Sanwa Gen 2 Super Vortex arrived today. Plan on using this in my B64D and see how it does.

They're great, I'm sure you'll like it. The stock version is also awesome. Both in my opinion are a huge improvement over the Zero.

So does the 12s and rs work with hfss2 receivers or no? I can not get a clear answer on this. I have a mxv and want to up grade but don't want to loose all my receivers.

My Sanwa Pro Gen 2 went puff. I am just going to stick with the radios and leave their other products alone. Hooked my Tekin RSX back up and good to go. Expensive lesson learned the hard way.

I'm curious as well, I really liked my Sanwa ESC for the time I had it. Didn't even need the fan on it.

but it is time to move forward to adapt the new instead of clinging on the old, mxv and m12s are a world of difference.

I reverse hooked battery to a Sport model (not available in the U.S.). Opened it up, and could see one FET is burned. It actually still works up to a point. If I can get someone knowledgeable and equipped to replace the one FET, it can work perfectly again. My bad. User error. What happened? I run all their ESC exclusively in my race rigs no problems... You buy it from overseas? - problem for you.

I stay away from Sanwa servos...

I love their radio and rx's, but the rest I will leave alone, one expensive ass lesson for sure.

Their radios are great. Never had a problem with their servos either - but I was never even tempted to buy their ESCs. They simply don't have any reputation for those. On the other hand, just "going puff" on its own, is not what I'd expect at all. If there was no user error involved, shouldn't there be some kind of warranty?

There is indeed but you'd need to buy it from the U.S. distributor or else it gets tricky. I believe the distributor would just replace the ESC and then they send a batch back to Sanwa for warranty replacement to recoup their loss.

Does the m12rs share the same manual as the m12s? I'm wondering if the m12rs offset backet is removable and how hard is it to do?

Anybody have a fix for the buttons being reversed? For scrolling and selecting items on my screen: Up is actually down and left is actually right.

I swear it used to be normal and one day everything was reversed.

Thanks!
