M12-RS coming out at a lower price point than M12S, check it.

Default Warranty

Does anyone know if warranties are covered in the U.S. if a Sanwa radio system is purchased from RCmart or similar overseas retailer?

I use the rx-472 with the antenna in the tube going trough the body.

It's Sanwa's receiver pricing that makes the radios less cost competitive as compared to Futaba. The FHSS4 receivers range generally in street price from about $75 to $110.

Not a big deal if you have one or two cars, but if you have a few, plus a few bashers, suddenly at five or six receivers you're likely at $200 more invested in receivers than had you purchased a Futaba.

After using both I'll gladly pay the difference in price for the Sanwa! The futaba menus are hands down the best. But as far as the feel on the track and the consistency in how the car drives and reacts its a no brainer.

This!! Sanwa menus are a bit more hard to navigate (took me a while to find the channel reverse the other day!) but I feel WAY more connected with the car on the M12S than with the 4PX I had.

Speaking of menus, do you guys know where the Laptime feature is on the M12s? Can't seem to find it - I get I'll probably have to press one of the buttons manually but it should still be a LapTime feature right?

I think the default way to start it is to press and hold the "Sw3" button for 3 seconds. Pressing the button again will store the lap and start a new one. You can fiddle with it in the setup menu under "Lap Timer".

well it's 27mm tall so if you have calipers you can confirm it real quick.
