Step one: remove front and rear bumpers, and the side bumpers as well
Step two: Attach body posts HBS61659 to the holes from the side bumpers (rear holes)
Step three: Trim up Jconcepts RC8E Illuzion to fit. It's pretty easy.
Step Four: Add velcro to the front of the body to help hold down.
Step Five: Mount your HPI85520 wing to the rear. (you can mount it to the old body posts, but my custom wing mount puts the wing closer to where an actual 8th scale would have one)
OPTIONAL: Add 17mm adapters and run actual 8th scale wheels/tires. (I have a pile of SCT tires so I am going to file those down first lol)

If you actually want to do one of these I would be glad to help and take more pics for you. It handles SO much better. It's a totally different vehicle.

I finally tried out the $23 motor and it's a beast. It's not as fast in the top end as my 8.5T boosted, but it easily has 3 times the torque, and that is what I wanted.
