Step three: Trim up Jconcepts RC8E Illuzion to fit. It's pretty easy.
Step Four: Add velcro to the front of the body to help hold down.
Step Five: Mount your HPI85520 wing to the rear. (you can mount it to the old body posts, but my custom wing mount puts the wing closer to where an actual 8th scale would have one)
OPTIONAL: Add 17mm adapters and run actual 8th scale wheels/tires. (I have a pile of SCT tires so I am going to file those down first lol)

If you actually want to do one of these I would be glad to help and take more pics for you. It handles SO much better. It's a totally different vehicle.
Thanks, have a extra rtr roller so that sounds like a fun little project.

Link? I will buy one of these ESCs.

I finally tried out the $23 motor and it's a beast. It's not as fast in the top end as my 8.5T boosted, but it easily has 3 times the torque, and that is what I wanted.

Sweet I have one of the 5200KV's and gonna try that out in a 1/10 Stadium truck

The great thing about this place is they ship everything from the USA and are fast with email replies.

Glad you found those already, we just got those in stock this week!
If you guys have any questions about the Rocket Racing lineup please feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.
We just got in this initial order and will be bringing in a full stocking order very soon. We have some decent stock right now, but our first order of new products are always on the smaller size (we did do testing of their products before we brought any in to sell).
