Which cheap esc
Before we start, please dont go on about buying spending the extra & buying quality escs .This isnt for a race spec car.
Im asking about cheap esc's  smiley face, not wanting to p*** anyone off :) Any recommendations for cheap 60A - 120A BL esc's Ive been considering these http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._10th_ESC.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...nsorless_.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...approved_.html The X-car is a Hobbywing clone , so I can use my HW USB programming card . I dont need the fastest, just something cheap & reasonable quality. Ive also considered genuine Hobbywing, but there are far to many fakes out there that I may as well buy a clone . I have been caught out with fake HW esc's in the past. Its going into a SCT, so I dont want to risk a expensive esc getting bashed about. I know the X-Car can do strange things if you flash the wrong HW software into it (eg run backwards) . I'm not in the US , so would need to buy from HK, rcmart etc. Cheers |
First one you listed is decent. I would avoid the other two. If you have a few more bucks, try this one:

+1 on the Turnigy short course ESC.

trackstars are good so are the xcars -- I think a good question is the usage what size motor are you planning to use? also is it for the track or bashing around the yard, I have the cheapo xcars in my race rigs and they are fine never had a problem.

Go for Trackstar
