Hobbyking 120A Sensor/Sensorless ESC

Hi all,

I've got the above but after setting up with a Hobbywing (x-car) 8.5T motor (sensored), it spins in the wrong direction.

Despite testing with several versions of available ESC firmware, I have been unable to get the ESC to change the motor spin direction. When i perform a 'servo reverse' on the transmitter, the spin direction remains the same (wrong direction).

Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

Cheers!

You calibrated after changing TX settings?

Just to confirm, it should be spinning counter clockwise when looking at the side with the output shaft.

I agree it's probably not calibrated correctly. I've got 2 of these and they spun correctly out of the box.

Hi chadp,

Yes... i and my friend tried calibrating it (neutral, full throttle, full brake) several times but to no avail... :(

Hi GerryH,

Actually... i need it to turn clockwise (looking at the side with the output shaft)! I'm running a durango 410 but with a motor seiki chassis.
