RX8 Low Voltage Cutout

I have a Tekin RX8 Gen2 that i ran for the first time today. The LVC is set for 2s and I was running a 2S lipo. Once I reached the low voltage threshold the car just stopped, couldn't even move to the side of the track.

Is this normal for the RX8?

In my slash platinum 4x4, once I reach the LVC the cars power is cut in half which allows me to atleast move to the side of the track. The slash is all stock...

I believe this is correct. Once it reaches LVC it will stop, but if it the battery rests for a moment or two it should come back enough to move a little

That's exactly what happens but usually not always enough to get out of the way. I think I will have to limit my practices to about 15 minute before the LVC kicks in.

Thanks

If your radio has a timer, set it for a time that works for you. Generally it is not a good idea to get to LVC anyway. I custom set my LVC limit to 3.3v per cell. It will extend the life of your battery.
