Mamba max pro problems

So awhile back I purchased the 2400kv and the MMP combo worked great than it stopped working I assumed it shorted out and I threw it on the shelf and found a diffrent esc (motor works great) than a month or so later I plugged a battery to it (2s) and poof magic smoke so I assumed it was done for good back on the shelf it went I read on a diffrent fourm that "MMP up in smoke comes back to life" I was indeed intrigued by that post and decided to plug a battery up.. And look at that works great well I thought.. It takes all the inputs throttle steering no smoke motor wires get a little hot and the motor dosent work it's tries too but it seems like it just cogs but never goes it's really a bummer that it's not working .. Or is it? Here's a video on YouTube of it in all of its glory i can posts links yet on this fourm but my channel is rcnation101

Thanks

Bumping thsi so I don't make a ne thread. I have some problems with my MMP... Since I changed the motor the brake almost doesn't work anymore. I run 28mm can motors so I couldn't fry the esc or anything. I tryed programming it, swaping back to the old motor etc. nothing worked. Any ideas?

Seens Castle is geting past by those China brands...
My MMP was the part that ruin my Neu 1110. Now she's dead with the TP Power 28can motor.

She did nothing...all good runing then out of the sudden...OFF forever. (nah, it's not the on/off switch already open it and short it...no nothing)
Might as well never buy a MMP again...those amps not showing in manuals or website are a cat story for childreen. Found only by insider some years ago that they are only 65A, that's why they don't show it :)

ZTW now all the way. The China King maker of them all :flaming: SkyRC is cheap and effective to!

Believe it or not...those fancy brands of eletronics in RC are the first ones that smoke literally.... LRP/TEKIN/CASTLE/SPEED PASSION .... so might was well buy cheap brands with some rebiality and hope that flames pass by or not!

Sorry to hear about your MMP dying on you Xmod. Could have something to do with that unusual high gearing you were running no?

When the Neu smoked 2 years ago...she always from that day made more silent beeps of counting cells at start up then the other MMP i have. It's noticable and that's the only thing i noticed. In maybe 10 packs one is loud like it should...so i know something was wrong...but she worked :D till OFF forever, now.

ZTW 120A SCT for the Pink Monster now :flaming: double the amperage of the MMP at half the price of inflated USA Castle's superior prices and avoiding Portuguese customs cause ZTW's are in Europe.

I know it should be a shot in the dark cause i see a lot of 1/8 buggy with MMP esc's working good...maybe i got a bad defective unit...but i see to many high end brands going bad and smoke for no aparent reason...and see a lot of chinese brands working for years straight witouth a swet.

Bad luck....cursed...i might think who's copying who and who make clones! And who produces for the market for inumreous brands...

Maybe this is the case like high end cables for audio...that are selled for 1:1 automotive prices and inside them is just plumbers teflon tape and house eletric 230v copper wire.... To many years seeing to many things that are just for deep pockets waste money with something that marketing made bigger then it's suposed...
Ahahaha:D
