2s to 8s Balance Adapter?
 

Hey, I really hate balance boards. Thought I'd get that out of the way.

I've got a new charger with a single type of balance port (8s) but I only ever run 2s batteries. So, to balance while charging, I need to use balance boards. My old charger had multiple balance inputs from 2s to 6s and on that I used a simple 2s charge/balance lead I built myself.

What I'm wondering is if anyone makes a really short 2s to 8s balance adapter, or I'm building one myself. (Should be pretty straightforward, but I'm feeling lazy.)

possible your just supposed to plug your adaptor to the first 2 pins in the 8s adaptor?

Yes, you can use the 2S connector and just plug it into the 8 pin connector, assuming they are the same type. As you can see, the wiring is the same regardless of number of cells. For my 308duo, I just trimmed off the tab on the left side (tabs facing up) and plug it into the far right side of the 8 pin connector. Just need to make sure the negative on the balance connector is in the right place.
