Need help picking a low profile servo.
As the title states, I need help choosing a low profile servo for my Kyosho RB6. I've went threw 2 bls551 servos, loved them but hate the gears. A buddy of mine let me use his Savox 1251 but I didn't like the feeling. Wanted to ask what else is out there. I'm looking specifically at the ko rsx line. Little expensive so need input. Thanks

Have you entertained the idea of the TrackStar TS-915 from HobbyKing?
It's digital, brushless, low profile with an all amuminum case, titanium gears and a 25T spline output. It's available in the US warehouse so you're not waiting three weeks to get it from overseas. And if you don't like it, or you break it, you're out $40 instead of $100 or $150. I know it's not the same as your buggy, but I've been running one in my VTA car for the better part of two racing seasons with no issues. |

What do you mean by "hate the gears"?

I run the TS-920 in my 2wd and 4wd buggies and the TS-900 in my SC. No issues, wicked fast and strong.... |
KO RSXone10 is IMO the best LP servo available. My second choice on a LP would be the BLS551/S9551. But the KO is just a little smoother and feels more connected. I ran my one10 for 3 years before finally needing to replace gears. I ran it in my mod touring car, stock touring car and 4wd mod with no servo saver. When it stripped out I bought another (response version) at the track and sent in the broken one (wasn't 100% sure it was the gears so I let KO fix it). Their service was great and had a fast turn around time.
