looking for a new radio?
Hey guys my uncle is looking for a new radio. He wants something that has good range and receiver not to bad on the wallet.
He mostly going to use it for a rock crawler and speed runs. Looking to spend around $100 +or- |
There are a lot of inexpensive options to choose from
A lot of the Hobbyking/Turnigy Radios are cheap and should work good enough to bash around http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...nsmitters.html A name brand radio that falls within your $100 would be the Sanwa, it has a waterproof receiver too so your uncle can crawl through deep water as well http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._receiver.html |
I've been running the Spektrum DX3C for about 2 years and can't complain about it. I think I spent around $100 for it and it also came with a receiver.
|
In that price range I would say the Airtronics MX-V hands down, great transmitter for under 100.
|
spektrum is the way to go
|
he has a spektrum dx2e he uses now but it keeps losing signal. his traxxas radio had worked better then the spektrum
|
dx4c 99$ comes with two receivers! this question has been asked a couple times recently though. do a search for your question you should see it. But yea i only use spektrum tx and rx and they have never failed me and do everything i ask of it! plus the 4c and extra channel never hurt anybody... the 3c is also 99$ which is weird.

If I had it to do over again, I would probably go with the Mx-V though. |

I use a hacked FlySky that I bought new about three years ago. I have not had a problem with it. The receivers seem to be a little fragile so pad them or have an extra on hand in case of a really hard hit.

For that price he could get an aitronics mxv.
