I just bought one, Love it, I installed it in my SCX10 Rubicon, simple and quick. I will tidy up the wiring a bit then make a more secure module mount. but it is up and running, plenty of volume. I stopped running the Jeep because it was boring, especially the sound of the whinning gears, now it is way more fun to run the car.

Hey guys, I'm trying to read through all the info on Associated's site including the manual but am just not catching it or they do not address my question. Can you load in your own custom sounds? are they just wave files or what?

I have one on order now with my LHS....I was reading about it and you have to download the software from RCPlus who is the manufacturer of this product.

The link is on the Associated website....I downloaded it to check it out and I dont see any place to load custom sounds. Most of the tracks are free, some are $1/$2.

Looks and sounds cool, gonna put it in my little guys SC10 when it gets here.

Just got one for my VTA and USGT, totally awesome...however, I just wish there is a way that I can save the "rcx" file onto the harddrive and load it when there are no internet around. Apparently, the different sound loading file must be download each time instead of download and save it on hard disk one time and reload...........that is weird, I don't know why I have to have internet access and download each time and load every time I change car....

Btw...the sound file they are using are having the "rcx" extension, don't know what kinda wave file that is but I am sure it can be any wave file but just renamed to RCX extension.

Still...great buy I think.

anything recent on this? I am curious to pick up one or see some racing action where a field of these were being used in say offroad or onroad like VTA.

Anyone still enjoying their ESS-ONE, just sharing mine in action for FPV. Now it feels like driving a real thing.
