The TS-920 should be back in stock now, if it's backordered you can run the TS-900 as well. You won't notice much, if any, difference in them. I can't.

The 120amp Gen II ESC is awesome!
The punch level is like a current limiter and has nothing to do with the boost or turbo timing.

Do you happen to have part numbers for these? Lots of choices here, and I don't want to pick the wrong ones....

Hello. Looking to get the 120a turbo ESC for my 1/10 buggy AND the 120a SCT 120a for my SC. Do I need two different programming cards? The one being the 80/120a Turbo (for the buggy) and the other being the 'multifunction' smart box Turnigy program box for the SCT. Just want to make if I should buy both programmers when I buy both ESC types. Thanks.

Ya, youll need two different programming cards for them. The one for the turbo ESCs and the one for the SC ESCs. Also keep in mind that there is a programmer for the Gen I and another for the Gen IIs.

Ran the GenII & 21.5t motor in the VTA last weekend. Had the car waaaay undergeared.

Sorted the gearing out & car came off the track 54'c esc, 58'c motor. Got a fan on the motor but not the esc.

Just need to fix the handling & it'l be sweet.

Hey rcnewbie418, I would suggest you just run the 120amp GenII ESC in both. I've run the 120amp Turbo and the 120amp SC ESC's..... I've swapped them all over to the 120amp GenII's. Another advantage is only needing one programming card. But, the GenII's seem to be a LOT smoother and responsive then the others and they have an smaller overall footprint.

If you're running an 1/8 buggy get the correct ESC. That would be the 150amp GenII ESC. I think it's currently back ordered but, should be in stock soon. Along with that, grab the 1/8 scale Trackstar 1900kv motor and you'll be set.

Trackstar Success Stories (Fanboys) Haters Need Not Apply-image.jpg
Got this 2 summers ago. Not sure what gen it is. 80a turbo esc $33, program box $10, fan maybe $2. Was worried about esc without a fan so got one but haven't needed it yet. Untill now been running it in a WheelyKing with a old Novak 13.5 and it's works great. No timing or boost cuz W/K driveline isn't stout above much more than stock power.
Now im ordering a red can Trackstar 10.5 and gonna put it in my Durango for open 2wd SC class. Can anybody give me some advice on a good starting point for timing, boost, punch etc.

Only problem I ever noticed is for some reason it won't program to a FlySky GT3B radio I was using for my bashers. No problems with my Spektrum DX3R pro.

Finally not TRACKSTAR but those Orange DSM2 receivers might be the best deal in R/C!!

A buddy of mine put one in his rc8b with the RTR motor on 4s. It is smoother than my genII 150a.

Have one sitting here I may put in my GTe as it has a smaller footprint than the Nosram thats in there. I know the car only ever pulls 90-100 amps AT MOST (Eagletree logging) so I'm curious. What do you think? Motor is an Orion 2100kv
