Trackstar Success Stories (Fanboys) Haters Need Not Apply

Also note that the punch level won't matter at all if you don't have the punch timing set. I believe the default is 0 degrees.
The TS-920 should be back in stock now, if it's backordered you can run the TS-900 as well. You won't notice much, if any, difference in them. I can't.
The 120amp Gen II ESC is awesome!

Hello. Looking to get the 120a turbo ESC for my 1/10 buggy AND the 120a SCT 120a for my SC. Do I need two different programming cards? The one being the 80/120a Turbo (for the buggy) and the other being the 'multifunction' smart box Turnigy program box for the SCT. Just want to make if I should buy both programmers when I buy both ESC types. Thanks.

Ran the GenII & 21.5t motor in the VTA last weekend. Had the car waaaay undergeared.
Sorted the gearing out & car came off the track 54'c esc, 58'c motor. Got a fan on the motor but not the esc.
Just need to fix the handling & it'l be sweet.

Got this 2 summers ago. Not sure what gen it is. 80a turbo esc $33, program box $10, fan maybe $2. Was worried about esc without a fan so got one but haven't needed it yet. Untill now been running it in a WheelyKing with a old Novak 13.5 and it's works great. No timing or boost cuz W/K driveline isn't stout above much more than stock power.
Now im ordering a red can Trackstar 10.5 and gonna put it in my Durango for open 2wd SC class. Can anybody give me some advice on a good starting point for timing, boost, punch etc.
Only problem I ever noticed is for some reason it won't program to a FlySky GT3B radio I was using for my bashers. No problems with my Spektrum DX3R pro.
Finally not TRACKSTAR but those Orange DSM2 receivers might be the best deal in R/C!!

Have one sitting here I may put in my GTe as it has a smaller footprint than the Nosram thats in there. I know the car only ever pulls 90-100 amps AT MOST (Eagletree logging) so I'm curious. What do you think? Motor is an Orion 2100kv
