Best kids radio?
 

Getting back into the sport with my 10 and 8 year old. RC cars and boats. Don't need anything with all the bells and whistles just something that will handle 1-3 cars/boats. Saw a Futaba with no antenna. That would be nice not having to worry about breaking that off. Open to any ideas and brands..

I believe the cheapest you're going to be able to get for a name brand radio is going to be $100. My son uses my Spectrum radio and has YET to drop it :) I know there are cheaper radios from hobbyking.com but I don't have any experience with any of those.

I use the hobbypartz gt3c it is very light and comes with rechargable lipo works fine has 10 model memory i think cant remember for sure but for 50 bucks cant beat it i have 2 one for me and one for the kids i used to have an airtronics m8 i like this one just fine check it out

The airtronics MX-V is a nice radio.
I got it on sale for $80 in the past from hobby people.
Wait for thanksgiving sales and I think they will do it again.
Even at $90, there is still no radio better than this one.

Looks promising but not sure about quality...

I believe the GT3C has issues with the power button?

I would avoid radios that feel overly fragile or that people have had issues with (ie breakages with general use) such as the 4pl/s

The Sanwa MX-V is a good starter and tough as nails.

a good basic radio is the axial ax-3. The tqi is decent too. Both can be found on ebay cheap
