Default Broken switch on LRP flow.. Race tomorrow. Help

One of the cables came out of the switch when I was installing my new receiver for new radio. The esc still functions fine but what do I do about the switch now?

For the time being you can use it as is. Cut the remaining wire from the switch, twist the 2 switch wires together and it will be ON all the time. Only way to shut it off is to disconnect the battery. You can find a replacement switch down the road and re-attach the wires and you'll be good to go.

Thanks Andy. Actually did try twisting them together and nothing happened, car wouldn't power on. I snipped the wires a little further down to leave them disconnected and now it works fine, just need to disconnect the battery like you said.

Flow is a bit different in that regard. Its switch circuitry works other way around, if switch is in connected position the esc is off and vice versa.
The point is if you brake your switch turning the run you can still finish, allso if you dont want to run a switch, just cut it off.

All black wires - check
Short servo and transponder wire - check
these are also black - check
custom screws on ESC Fan - check
Battery Tape - check
is it in bulkhead matching colour? - check
super clean spur gear - check

In a bind put the wire together temporary. Purchase a new switch Micro switch. Last week I install a switch in my Mini Heli. not a toggle switch but push button switch, enough to handle 30v, an measures just over a penny.. Work great after a week of use. Can find them for cheap.

As has been mentioned previously on this thread, LRP wires the switch differently from other manufacturers. Putting them together will switch the ESC off.

Any 2 wire switch will work. Check Radio Shack. (Novak, Tekin, etc.)

Happens over here a lot. You have rug rats around, you have brain farts at times!!

It give subimize option or replacing or omitting altogether, his option. Phillip, give option on switches. I do like the push button on my heli.

I managed to take out the switch from it's plastic casing and it looks like this..

The switch looks okay... I just accidentally cut the wires while I was organizing the wiring in my rc car. I just need to know which end goes to which tab so I can solder it myself.

Electronic gurus ...need your help.

the switch is Knitter-Switch MFP 1220

You got a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. Attach the wires and see if the power is OFF in the OFF position. If not, switch 2 wires around and should be good to go.
