Hobbyking multichargers

What does everyone think of them? My buddy has one and loves it, but he's just one person and I'd like some more opinions before I buy one.

Never used one, 50 watts per channel is going to be really slow on bigger cell packs. Depending on what your doing with the charger I would think there are probaly better options out there but what are your needs?

Mostly just 2s pack, with one 4s for my 1/8 scale on race day.

You will only be able to charge your 4s lipo with approx. 2.8A on a 50W charger.

If you have any 4s lipos, I would go for at least a 200W charger, so you can perform a 10A charge if needed.

i have this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._4_X_60W_.html

and i like it. This one have 60W per channel.

I use it to charge my 2 cell saddles for my buggy and sometimes my 4s 3000mah for my plane. Using it for my life/nimh for the nitro truggy as well.

It works great. What i like about it is that you can charge different batteries at the same time. Its very nice to just set the charger up with 4 different batteries and come back 1 hour later and its all done and ready to go.

the only downside is off course that its only 60w per channel, meaning that it will only charge a 2s lipo at 6.0 amps. But for me its plenty.

i recommend.

I had a dual channel HK charger and it worked pretty well. The 2 big downsides I had were it was a bit inconsistent with ending charge (always low) and then it always took a loooooong time to balance.

All in all not a horrible charger but if you are racing (especially in a stock class) you might get one that is a little nicer.

I've been using a Venom Pro Charger 2 with 50w and it's worked great but since my fleet has expanded I need more ports. I got a good deal on 4 way so I jumped on it. When we race at my track we take our time and I have a couple batteries for the classes I run, so I think it'll work.
