HELP! NOOB needs a battery charger

I have tried to figure this out on my own, but the more I look the deeper I get. I am looking to get a 2x charger that handles all battery types. Lipo size will be 2-4s max. want discharge and storage modes. All other features are fluff. I can handle the power supply, so it doesn't have to be built in. What should I be looking at?

I will suggest a Powerlabs 6 from Revolectrix but if you do an advanced search and type in "charger" for title only, you'll get quite a few hits.

Just sayin'......

I just got a Powerlab 6 and really like it. Previously, I was using a Team Checkpoint TC1030 with external balancers. It did a good job, but the newer chargers are much faster and much of the detecting and settings are automated. I second Yosh's recommendation.

I wind up picking up a Team Orion Touch Duo. Seems like a nice unit.

Fastest charge on a 4S will be only 5A max.

Oh well, if you have the time I suppose.

You will love it when charging 2s but rather slow on larger cell counts as noted above. Its a very nice easy to use charger, my only real complaint is it takes forever to discharge a pack.

Goathog,
I think I'm gonna go with a Junsi 4010duo. Just need a good recommendation for a power supply?

FWIW, do not use "discharge mode" on the charger as a rule. The only two settings you need in a normal day are "balance" and "storage"
