Default 40mhz FM radio and brushless setups

Hi,

I currently have an airtronics m11 radio with both fhss-2 and fm modules. the fhss-2 is already set up in my offroad rig and i'm thinking of getting into 1/10 ep. my question is can the fm radio be used with a 1/10 bl setup or do i need to buy another fhss-2 receiver?

Im currently preparing a return to racing. I'm gonna use my KO FM radio and have it with a brushless set up. Admittedly, i've only had it on the bench so far, but appears to work without any issues. So long as your radio, receiver and crystals are in good order and you follow basic requirements to minimse interference (receiver location in car, undamage aerial wire, good TX battery voltage, etc.) you shouldn't have a problem.

No reason to not run FM in a brushless setup. I'm hoping you are not in the US where 40mhz in NOT a legal channel for RCs.

Radio modulation and brushless motors are mutually exclusive.

You can use a brushless motor with any modulation; AM, FM, 2.4 or anything as long as your receiver feeds the signal to the ESC.
