To change to 4PX or to switch
Last year, having come back to electric onroad cars after over a decade of void, I got myself a Futaba 4PKSR from a friend's recommendation.
Now, one year later, with the 4PX is coming, having just sold my 4PKSR tranny, at this conjecture, just want to pick the brains of those who tried Sanwa/Airtronics M12, KO EX1 and 4PKSR, which one is more responsive? Back over a decade ago when I was into gas onroad (the PCM days), I used Sanwa because I tried Futaba and KO and I felt its the most responsive amongst the three. Is it still true? |

I'm in the same position. I own the 4pks and feel it's time for a change, I'm really looking at the m12. I'm also considering that since I have 5 cars I need 5 receivers which brings my cost upto the $900 area. I think the 4px is nice but since it's not faster I'm leaning towards the m12.
The only reservation of me getting M12 is that I am sure with the 4PX Sanwa would have a color screen tranny in the pipeline...given the M12 debut in 2012, might just be an update with a color screen next year |
