Help.! esc problem or charger problem..
 

Hi all members,

im new in rctech also new in rc car world.

Before i change my ezrun 35a esc with combo 4300kv 9t motor, everything works fine, but then my fault, i made a wrong battery placement to the esc and the esc seems like do not work anymore.

i change the esc with xcar 120a with the same motor and the battery is nano tech 5800, 7.4v. after running awhile my battery is empty and i charge with imax b6 (5A) and always comes up with input vol error, and i change to 0.1A and it works, after few times of charging, i cant change to 5A charge.

my question is,
can i program the esc with the ezrun combo program card?

is my battery working good? or my adapter for the b6 ?

my esc cut off too low? my esc stock program is higher then 7.2v?

any advice with my problem will be very appreciated.

Sounds to me like you cross connected the battery on the 35a esc and fried it. That's why it's not working anymore? What are the cell voltages reading on the charger when you try to charge? My guess is that your running the pack down too low which is fooling the charger into thinking you've got a dead cell or something. I don't know much about the 2nd esc but if it's a hobbywing base then the HW program card may work. Hook it up and see. Won't do any harm.

The lowest is 5.4 shows on my charger and last week(after the cross connected) i can charge it with 0.1 a until it gets to 6v or 7v i can change the current to 5a. But now i charge to 7.4v with 0.1a and i cant get it higher to 5a. Some people said that i got a bad adaptor but i still dont understand how can i check which is wrong? Any advice if my battery get toasted? Any help that i can do to rescue my battery?

5.4 is way too low for a lipo. It's highly probable that you've done lasting damage by running it down that low and it probably won't recover. Try another pack on the charger to check out the charger but it's pretty likely the pack is goosed.

Well i think so. Bit this is just the 1st month. I did so many failure. Haha but thats call experience. Thanks for your help..

Yeah we've all been there and made those kind of mistakes that leads to "experience"...

it sounds silly, but actually my battery is ok and i just bought another one. just found out with my workshop friends, that my charger adaptor problems.

when i use his adaptor to charge, its all ok nothing happen tp my lipo. and it means i have 2 lipo battery now.
