Default spektrum dx3s

I have a spektrum dx3 radio with sr3000 and a sr 300 reciever. I want to get a new electric associated b5. WHat i am worried about is running a 7.4 lipo. Will this radio and recievers work with them. I also have a hitec 7955tg that only has a a choice of voltage of 4.8-6.0. Will these still work using a buggy that uses a 7.4 lipo to run everything. I am really confused about this.

Your battery plugs in to your speed control. Your speed control then plugs in to your receiver. The esc powers the receiver which in turn powers your servo. Your esc has a voltage regulator inside of it so whether it has a 2 cell lipo or a 3 cell lipo plugged in it always puts out the same voltage to the receiver / servo. Hope this helps.

Yes thast awesome thank you! I was just curious and finally making the move to electric and am glad that i can use the sr3000 and sr300 reciver and my hitec hs7955tg servo. Hopefully i got the numbers right but thats great. I am getting the associated rb5m and just wanted to make sure. Thanks again.
