Lipo charger Help

Im looking for a lipo charger that can charger up to a 6s and life batts thats dose not need a power supply

To charge a 6s battery that is 5600mAh, you will need a charger with at around 200 watts output (150 watts minimum) to charge at 1c. If you need to charge higher capacity batteries or higher c-rating, the power requirement will be even greater. Hyperion makes some good chargers that are AC/DC that fit that bill.

It is unfortunate, but DC chargers on a good power supply do a better job on large capacity high voltage batteries.

?? Its good if you want a 100W charger....you will not find anything that fits your needs w/o buying a charger that requires a separate PSU.

I don't think what you want exists currently in the configuration you want at the price you want.

Like others have said, ditch the built in power supply idea and pick up a DC charger and use a converted server PSU. The following one is nice and compact. Cost less than $30 on ebay.

As for the charger, pickup either an FMA PL6 charger or one of the Junsi iChargers that fits your needs.

Bite the bullet, buy icharger or Fma.....

Progressive sells kits that include a pelican type case. Not cheap but very portable.

That should fit the bill. Was really hard to find too. Are you working on an elementary school desk or something? Or one of those really small 1/4 sized university desks?

i picked up a imex charger to hold me down for now.
what would be a good dc charger and ps combo to go with thats will get the job done

Revolectrix Power Lab 6 is super-versatile DC charger and capable of 1000 watts. Progressive RC sells some convenient combos to suit your needs. I have the 600W power supply and it is more than enough. There are certainly smaller power supplies available.
