nvision lipos anyone using them

hey guys just wondering if anyone is using nvision lipos if so what are your thought? I am looking at getting a 6500mah 90c hardcase 4s so if you have one could you let me know if its any good.

hi , i have 1 x 8000 2s 90c and 2 x 6400 2s 90c nvision hardcased lipo batteries, the performance is very good , the batteries are still relatively new ( 7 to 9 cycles ) so i cant tell you about longevity yet, my only negative is the casings are not the strongest so you need to be careful, but on the plus side this makes them lighter, the battery you are looking at may or may not be different to these 2s lipo's
cheers

Do you have a link? Are these a budget minded pack or a high end type of pack?

the 8000mah 90c nvision 2s lipo internally is the same battery as the team orion carbon pro 8000mah 90c 2 s lipo, the case is not as robust though, but the performance is the same, so yeah these are high end competition batteries that are still delivering high output at the end of your tc mod final or whatever class you run in. To me this is the difference between lesser batteries and premium, you cant afford to be losing any power when the race is on the line because you can bet your competitor won't be.

Pretty much all lipos are very good but these are older generation cells. They have higher IR and slightly poorer in performance to the currently available high end packs.

It would depend on the class you are running if you would notice the difference on track.

Whilst they are still ok to use they are IMO over rated and over priced.

If they were budget priced then they worth buying.

From what I have seen the best lipo on the market atm are the IP cells (sold under ProMatch and Orca brands plus others) or the SMC cells.

I agree, they are very good LiPo's and even though I don't know for sure if they are the same as Team Orion, they do perform the same.

I can however also advice Corally LiPo's, in my experience a bit better and cheaper. And available in 45C and 90C.

Hi guys, everyone i have spoken to about these batteries has told me they are the same but having never opened one up or being a supplier i cant be certain but this seems to be the general consensus.
I think it is hard to go wrong with most 90c batteries and i am sure there would be differences and without knowing the exact specifications it would be hard for me to conclude which is best (At club level any 90c should do )
A competitor of mine has Team orion, Nvision and ORCA 90c lipo and he says they all feel the same ( strangely he always has a Orion or Nvision onboard for the final :sneaky:), this is not to say any is better or worse, this is just an observation i have made, on my part i also have intellect 80c lipo which are good but cant deliver full power at the end of a hard 5 min race but are still a good battery, i also have cheaper ( brand not specified ) 65c which are fine in my vorza but cannot survive 5 hard minute races ( they dump and leave me stranded ). just my 2 cents

anyone got any more to add on the 6500 hardcase 4s?? i have one now and seems good.

I have had hard case 6500mAh NVison battery now for 3 years and it is still in very good Condition.

I can easily recommend NVision batteries based on my experience.

Anyone else been using them for a while now? More so the 6500 4s 90c

Anyone got the 6500mah 4s 90c and checked capacity on a chrager? Hence draw down to around 3.2 per cell and then balance charge see how mah go back in?

Bought 2 new ones sad to say after doing this a few times they are only takinh about 5700mah not close to 6500.

What you put in is essentially what you’ve taken out. If your esc is cutting out at say 3.7volts you still have amps left in the tank. The mah of packs is calculated at around 3volt but it’s generally not recommended running that low
