Planing to grab the Lynx4s Next week..My LHS carries it but they only come with and have the Axion 4 Rx locally..Whats the major or minor diff between Proton and Axion Rxs?
Its selling for USD255 for the TX plus 1 Axion4 Rx.

Cheers

I ordered mine with the 2 channel receiver and a second receiver. Mine also came with a manual in the box, i see some posts here saying they got no manual?
The lad that runs the hobby section got the same radio with the gps receiver and a couple of extra 2 channel receivers. He also got a couple for the shop but i think they didn't stay long lol.
Easy to swap over to left hand. I didn't use the drop down thing as it feels uncomfortable to me.
Easy to use, nice weight and pretty cool that the screen flips around for us lefty's.
I would however have liked the charger for the nimh battery that's included to be in the box but that's no big deal.

Sure beats the nomadio sensor that i've been using.

I know these are not the LIFE batteries you were asking about, but When I contacted Hitec about which lipo to use, these are the lipo batteries they told me to get. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...0&I=LXCURP&P=K I have two of the Lynx 4s radios one for my kid and the other for myself and I have these batteries in them and they work perfectly.

The Axion2 is the high speed Rx its Frame rate is 4ms. And it is not as versatile as the Proton in terms of telemetry. So if you are not using telemetry and want to race at the fastest level get the radio with Axion2 Rx

Cant you download and save it to your smartphone? Pretty sure you can....

Here is a pic for some more info on the Axion 4. Threw the Proton in there for a comparison of the size difference, penny for reference.

A better shot to show the size difference.

when car is starting, throttle goes full right away.

use : On/Off --> enable/disable
max : duration of boost time
tg.p : boost point of trigger, if you set 10%, boost will be started after 10% of trigger point
pw.p: boost power, you can adjust it to full power or less by percentage

So are you guys liking the lynx? Lhs will have mine in tomorrow. I may do a review on youtube since there seems to be no racer oriented review.

A review would be AWESOME!
Thinking of getting one myself but no good reviews yet. A range test would be very cool for us bashers...... Just saying

I have two of them. One for me and one for my kid. Good weight. easy to navigate menus, good feel, No glitches etc. IMHO an incredible value in a radio.
