Did I read that Adam Drake is going to run one of these? That would be awesome!

I was looking in the manual not real specific. It does show the Proton at 4.8 to 7.4v and I would suspect that the Axion units are the same. However I would just send Hitec an email. I had a question for them a week or so ago and they had the answer for me in a couple of hours. Very fast response.

I had my Lynx 4s/axion 2 receiver combo out this weekend in a RC10B5M that previously had a Flysky GT3C radio setup.

The menus are pretty easy to figure out. No problems with range or glitching. The only thing I would like Hitec to do differently is to offer the transmitter with with a side-to-side moving led in the front "ridge" of the transmitter to trick out the Battlestar Galactica cylon look; that would go awesome with a "By your command" startup wav file.

I am not to happy with the price jump in the Axion 2 HHR receivers, but I have a few more coming my way from Tower. Other than that, so far, so good.

Well I'm sold on the tx now. Sadly no RC for 2 weeks as I will traveling to India. Gonna get me one as soon as I get home.

Yay

hello
can you please tell me what the voltage capacity is for the axion 2 and axion 4?
curious if it can use a straight 2s lipo for power in my vehicles
thanks

2s is pretty straight forward to use without a problem! Most racing is done with 2s lipo's, why would they make a receiver that wouldn't work for racing needs? Especially when the HHR receivers have a port for the transponder.

I agree that "Not a problem!" is not a voltage range. What I interpret that response was supposed to mean is that 2s lipo power is "Not a problem!". That's just me though.

im intrigued i guess.

http://www.openhobby.com/front/produ...02001000&sort=

this esc has a 5-8 volt bec capabilty

these servos can handle 8 volt
http://www.amain.com/radiopost-5005s...oltage/p265077

http://www.amain.com/bk-servos-bls-8...-servo/p388039

so with my intrigue and curiosity and wanting a telemetry radio which one can push these servos is why i been looking to see if a telemetry radio can. (especially if i throw a set of servos in my nitro and use a fresh charged lipo for rx)

2s straight forward sure not a problem but a fresh charged lipo is 8.4 is it still not a problem?

Default Manual

Maybe I'm too old school, disappointed that the radio doesn't include a hard copy instruction manual. Had one printed @ Staples and spiral bound for $10. With a new radio, it's nice to have a reference to go to at the track, I race outdoor offroad and don't like having to carry a laptop to the track with all the dust and dirt. JMHO

Has anyone found and tested a LIFE battery that fits into this transmitter?

Li-Fe 2cell is working well in the radio, I used to us MuchMore Li-Fe for tX, it fitted well.

but, you should check some other batteries need to trim inside of battery space to fit well.

Can you provide a link to the batteries you suggested?
