Having run SMC, Turnigy, GensAce, ProMatch, Orion, Zippy, RevTech, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some, stick with the GensAce. Don't go under 30c.
Really what I would do is start dropping your race packs down to basher/practice packs and get some nicer race packs. Moving to a higher C and higher mah can yield some real world gains. The Turnigy Nano-tech 6.0's are a great bang for the buck.
My SMC 7200's have 1/4 of the cycles of my 6.0's in my stock sedan and are already a little puffy and don't feel as punchy as my 6.0's. They do feel the same throughout the whole run however so I guess that's good.
