Servo twitching

Just finished my clean up on my serpent buggy and when i turned it on to check the servos i noticed the throttle servo (spektrum s200) was twitching alot when going into brakes. I did nothing to the servos whatsoever just took them out of the car and the links remain the same, any help? Or do i need a new servo?

Clean your contacts and inspect the cable for damage. Make sure your pack is fully charged and is also clean and undamaged. Servo's use some kind of PWM and sudden twitches are usually the result of dropped pulses.

IE radio sends 10 pulses per second but every 4 pulses gets dropped it sees it as . . . . . . . . . instead of . . . . . . . . . . and thinks you're turning the wheel.

The other possibility is radio interference. If you're on FM or AM that's pretty common. 2.4 pretty rare although if you have adjustable pulse rates try 22ms if 11 or 16.5ms glitches.

One last thing, try swapping servo leads, see if the problem follows the servo or the radio port. If your brakes are binding more than usual it might be voltage drop glitching from it struggling.
