Futaba 4pl setup questions

New to this radio system from using a specktrum dx3s and can't seem to set it up right..
I have 2 rx binded and work fine..problem is

1) how do I create different names for each model..every time I do this for model 1, it then automatically overwrites model 2 name and vice vers
2) when both vehicles are on..they both do the same thing..steer they both steer, accelerate, they both accelerate etc..is this normal?
If I'm working on one vehicle on the bench and my son is driving another vehicle, the one on the bench is going to be annoying to say the least!!

I to, am new to the Futaba 4pl. I've been playing with it for a couple days now.
I haven't done it yet but I think that you have to copy menu1 to menu2 and set up menu2 to suit that model. Thats what i'll be trying.

http://www.futaba-rc.com/downloads/manuals.html

it has 10 model memories

tap the button, use the steering trim switch to select the model #
first 3-4 settigns are servo reverse settings (4 is 4th is enabled)
next 3-4 are epas for each (4 if 4th servo is enabled)

next is abs setting for brake

next is the name, use throttle trim to change letter, steer trim to select whch letter to change

next is 4th servo enable (inh = disable, 4ws, brk = brake only)

next is throttle failsafe position

then back to the main screen with model # and battery voltage

It has 40 model memory from what I can see..
Anyway, was able to get the 2 different model names with seperate profiles, however I just think futaba was stupid in being able to run multiple vehicles off the one handset simultaneously..I don't know why it's done this way but it's just plain silly
