Is there a better servo?

I run a servo winch on my Wraith and currently have an OLD Cirrua CS80. It's very strong and will pick my weighted truck up off the ground no problem. My problem is, it's slow as dirt! I can't find any budget servos with similar power that are faster although I don't believe this one is as fast as it says.

Servodatabase.com rates it at 343oz @ .14 on 6v
Here us a short video showing just how slow this is.

Can someone point me to a servo with similar power and faster?

good, cheap, fast

Pick any two.

.14 isnt all that slow. Any servo with considerably faster speed and comprable torque will come at a much higher price. And any servo with a low price and faster speed will really lack in torque.

I'm not entirely concerned with price. I didn't buy this one, I got it in a trade and when I decided to experiment with the servo winch, that's the one I picked.

I know .14 isn't bad but there is no way that's what I'm actually getting.

I don't think it was to do with the servo being slow, more-so as the servo being overworked. I don't know many servos that are made to lift a 5-8 lbs vehicle off the ground. I would stick to cheaper servos for your winch, as with that type of abbuse, you will be running through gear sets frequently.

Yeah that makes sense, it's just dreadfully slow. My buddies Warn winch is almost twice as fast but less than half the strength. I don't ever really need it to pull the truck off the ground while crawling of course

cheap and good, savox seems to be a great choice. many of their $70-100 servos are fast, strong and all that jazz.

if you run lipo get a brushless high voltage servo. makes a huge difference you can really tell.

Amain sells a Protek servo that would be similar in torque but much faster speed rating.....granted you have to run it in HV but even at 6V, the specs are pretty good.
