cheap 4s esc?

so i need an esc for my slash 2wd, i run a novak 3000kv hv pro on 4s. i am wondering what a good esc for under 150 would be. i already made an AE xp digital db esc catch on fire withing 30 seconds of running. also i would like it to be a sensored esc if possible. and what are peoples thoughts on the sidewinder 1/8?

thanks in advance.

Toro 150a or leopard 150a as well is ok. Basically rebadged Hobbywings.

i have a hw 80a already and i dont like how unlinear it feels. and the only radio i have that will bind to the hw is my fsgt3b,so it may be that radio that causes this. does anyone know if a traxxas 2.4 or a spektrum dx2e will bind to it?

Your radio binds to your receiver, not your ESC. I don't know if the HW 80a has programmable throttle curves or not, but it might be a place to look for your non-linear feel. It could also be your radio, but again I don't know if your radio is capable of exponential throttle curves.

Sorry, worded that wrong, the esc will only calibrate to my fly sky.

If the other radio has end point adjustments turn them up to 120% and try to calibrate again. If the radio has a fairly low resolution some ESC's struggle to calibrate at 100% end point.
