battery in question

I am trying to use either
1. 3S 11.1V 2100mAh(23.5 Wh) 20C(42 Amp)
or
2. 11.1v 3 cell 20C continuous discharge (100A) 5000mAh
max burst rate 40C (200A) min discharge volts per pack 9.0V
max volts per pack 12.6v

having problems starting my motors. I cant tell if it is the lipo or the ESC

Either of those is fine. I'm using 3s 2200 25C packs on my phantom quadcopter and thats plenty of power. I believe it'll be some issue with your setup of ESC etc. Go through it step by step, re bind, re calibrate and start eliminating things.
