need esc help

hi we doing i just bought a speed passion esc (reventon s combo with motor)put it on a redcat twister left the original receiver on have connection for steering still, but no throttle response . calibrated it a number of times still nothing. any info would be greatly helpful

Are there any lights on the ESC that respond to the throttle input? I.e. does the ESC appear to be working but the motor is not turning or does the ESC appear to be dead other than passing current through to the receiver for your servo?

i had the motor going when i first turned it on turned the transmitter on and then the car motor ran, so i now i have connection from the esc to the motor. had a orange light flashing. I am using a 5000 ni-mh it says that it supports that battery on the Manuel. could the factory receiver on the car be the problem see how i did not upgrade that as well. it already is linked to my transmitter though so i don't think that could be the problem.

i was able to get some response out of the esc today changed run setting and added reverse celebrated it about a dozen times, when i push the trigger all the way forward i got forward when i pulled in did not get nothing going to try to calibrate the opposite way and see what that does:confused:

Reverse your throttle on your remote.

Did you turn the lvc off since you are using a nimh battery?

i changed the lvc to 2.6 v that's what the book says it looks like the lowest setting. found out that i don't have nothing when i turn running mode to brake and forward, but when i turn it to reverse brake foward , i have power but the car dose not want to stop unless i hold my trigger down, like very high idle. i have brake response but no forward response. thanks guy for the help on this.
