recomend strong servo for truggy

with all the new ,and re-badged Servos around its getting hard to tell what to buy !
Im'e looking for a HV strong reliable fast steer servo for a 1/8 Truggy .(MBX6TR)
:tire:

I have been using Futaba BLS 351 servos for 1/8 buggy ,and Ace DS1015 for 1/10 4x4 short course truck. But would like to know if any hi volt (7.4) servos exist that are as fast, or pref faster ,and with more torque ,but most of all "bullet Proof".
I see a lot of support for Hitec ,most based on how Hitec replace failed units etc, however i reside in Nth Queensland Australia, and don't want to be sending servos to US for repair .

PS. I have Spectrum DX3R trans ,and 3100 reciever !

Either Hitec 7955 or 7950 for a little more torque...

Hitec 7955 without a doubt. ServoCity has them for less than $100.

I have been running Savox 1268 for a few years now. Not one servo failure. I have 8. I run them in everything. Strongly recommended.

I like the hitec 7954hs servo. 403oz/.12 transit @ 7.4v

The 7955 is not high voltage.

Yes, but the 7955 handles lipos with no problem.

No problems with lipo at all...

I have the option to use the hitec 7955, 7950 and the 7940th servos. Which servo is best to use on a losi 3.0 buggy and which one should I use for throttle and steering? I'm going to use the spektrum dx4r pro radio with the reciever the radio comes with.

I would save a little dough and use a 7955 on steering and throttle....

7940 throttle and 7950 for steering. Best combo for truggy.

Might as well use the 7950 for steering since he has one.
