Before I order a iCharger

Need to make sure I get a sufficient charger.

The one I'm looking at is 24v @ 57 amps and 1400 watts. Would this be a pretty good match and get pretty close to maxing out the capabilities of this chargers on both ports at one time ? I know I couldn't do 30 amps on both ports, but want to be close to if the need arises.

Also, for a 60 dollar price difference, should I go for the 4010 DUO ? I don't think I have the need for it, but the price seems minimal.

What I will be charging

1s 4000 mah
2s 6500 mah

no immediate plans for more cells right now

Thanks

I have to ask....just how much is this setup costing you? Are you planning on charging friend's 5S and 6S as well? Just slightly overkill for your situation.

Just for myself and when my brother leaches off me.

The main reason I want the a iCHarger is for the IR readings. I know I could just buy a meter, but I'd like one less piece of equipment around. Also need something with a faster charger rate.

Since I race several classes with same car and battery is not easily removable, I need something to charge fast. My 10 amp charger is killing me presently.

With the 308, I'm looking right about 310 total with the power supply, about 375 for the 4010 with PS.

Actually that setup will allow you to charge at 30 amps on each port on 2S and 1S lipos. Have to consider power (watts), not just amps.

I get hung up on amps a lot, haven't grasped the amps, volts and watts thing.

Think I'll go ahead and order the 308

Not that we dont believe you but the iCharger 308 is $270 everywhere.... where are you getting a 24V 1400W PSU for $40?

Actually, the 308 is 253.00 from my LHS. The psu is 66.00. My math was off, actually 320. FYI, this is just two server psu's, not a manufactured off the shelf one.

My LHS gives me good prices, those are prices with tax.
