I had one go bad and they're not repairable. Send it in and they'll replace it at a so called "reasonable price". I ate the bullet and just tossed mine. Tried to get it apart and made matters worse and broke it completely.

See if it works in another receiver. Maybe it's not the unit at fault

They won't repair them, they'll give you $5 off or something silly like that off of a new one.

$5 discount is like a punch in the gut when they cost $80-$110. If the transponder is defective that would be the ultimate insult. :( He states no botched wires and almost new.

As far as I know PT's have a 3 year limited warranty.

Warranty....(Scroll to bottom of page)

I called MyLaps and confirmed that there is a 3 year warranty and no charge for repair or replacement on the condition there's no physical damage.

ya i tried different rx's.. thanks bob, I'll check into it. i think i still have my receipt..

I hope you get resolution because a total loss is bad. I don't think those transponders have been on the market three years. You should be good I'd imagine. Good luck and please keep us posted.
