1/8 Buggy Motor/ESC

So I'm putting together a 1/8 e buggy for the upcoming summer season... Looking around for a motor/esc. Thought maybe I'd find a used setup (tekin/viper/novak), but I couldn't help but notice that the Hobbywing Xerun stuff is very reasonably priced. Anybody got first hand experience with one? If so which exact system?

Hobbywing's Xerun system works great if you have a good set. They are sort of like hit & miss. When u do get a good one, it works great. Or if you are unlucky like both of my frds, both their Xerun boomz on the same day.
