ESC SWITCH

Hello all... The esc on my sidewinder sv2 came off and was wondering if it will work with an accessory esc off/on switch?? Also, I had it plugged into my receiver and I couldn't test it with the battery plugged in.. Any suggestions to see if it still works??? Any help appreciated!!!

You can just twist or solder the two switch wires together. It's a fairly common thing since many external esc switches aren't very reliable. I had to do this on my Mamba Max Pro and a couple LRP esc's that I have. Truck would cut out every once in a while, usually after a hard landing. Eliminated the switch and haven't had any issues since.

How do you eliminate switch wires?

You don't really, just strip the two wires and twist them together, that'll let you test it, if you don't mind nit having a switch you can heat shrink the twisted end and be done with it

You will also have to turn your radio on first cause when you connect the battery, it'll be powered up.
