Weird servo glitch?
So i had something weird happen today and i wanted to see what you guys thought. After a 30 minute drive to find somewhere where there wasnt slush to drive my car i get ready to drive and my steering servo is locked all the way left. the trim wouldn't even get it to straighten out and turning all the way to one side barley made it back to straight. I am running a 2.4 GHz Radio and receiver so i thought interference was out of the question but it sure seems like it. I relink the controller and receiver together several times and even relinked the controller to the ESC. Still nothing. There was a popping noise coming from the steering control area but i couldn't tell if it was the servo or just some of the crazy steering set up that my rc10 has. So i went home pissed off and frustrated only to turn it one and have it work perfect as soon as i get home. I am lost. It really seemed like interference but is the possible to have that with a 2.4GHz radio? and if it was why was it only effecting my steering and the throttle was working fine. The servo seems to work perfect now, should i replace it anyway?
Let me know what you think -Jake |

Let me know what you think -Jake I ask because it sounds like you stripped a servo gear. And if you move the wheels back and forth. They can momentarily "catch" and the servo can appear to work normal, for a short period of time. Unplug the servo and quickly move the wheels back and forth by hand and listen for any "clicking" as well as feel for any spots that are "free" or have no resistance in the travel. If there is, you'll need A: a gear set or B: a new servo (choice is yours) I'm just taking a shot in the dark.. |

I wacked the bottom where the batteries are so I'm wondering if theres a bad connection there? |
