Need help with high voltage servo
I have a savox sc-1267mg and a tekin rx8 gen2. I am wondering if it is ok to run 7.4v to acheieve the maximum speed and torque out of my servo. Here are the servo specs. Will the specs @ 6.0v be enough? This will be my first Escale . Any input will be helpful at this point. Thanks in advance

When a manufacturer lays specs for their servo specifically for 7.4v then you are okay to use 7.4v with it. In your description you show speed and torque at 7.4v. You are good to go. I think you'd be more satisfied with 7.4v than 6v. Faster and more torque is better.

Of course. I run the same servo at 7.4v. I actual fact I tend to run all my servos at 7.4v when I can. Especially savox servos!
it is bad to run servos at 7.4 volts, if they are only rated at 6 volts. |
